Intumescent coating

PYRO-SAFE^® DG-AAF is a further development of the certiﬁ ed PYRO-SAFE^® DG-HF ﬁre protection coating. By using ﬁ nely ground ﬂ ame retardants, very smooth and visually appealing paint surfaces can be achieved. Furthermore, the coating remains ﬂ exible and elastic down to -20°C, with excellent adhesion to the substrate.

PYRO-SAFE^® DG-AAF is an intumescent coating for timber, metal, plastic, concrete, mineral-ﬁbre and non-combustible fabric, which starts to intumesce in the presence of a ﬁre. Depending on the substrate an additional coating layer may be required.

Handling

PYRO-SAFE^® DG-AAF designed for application by air-less spraying (nozzle orifice ≥ 0.019 inches = 0.48 mm) or compressed-air spraying (nozzle orifice ≥ 2.0 mm).
