Self-Adhesive Fire Protection Fabric

PYRO-SAFE^® B FX 1200 is a flexible glass filament fabric composite building material with a plastic dispersion-based coating that forms an intumescent layer on one side. The product is flexible and forms a thermally insulating foam layer on the inside in the event of fire, filling the free space between the component to be protected and the fabric and limiting fire spread.

Application instructions	The surface must be free of impurities. The adhesive film serves as a mounting aid. For large-area applications, the material must be mechanically fastened or clamped.
Bulking pressure/foaming factor	approx. 1.0 – 1.65 N/mm² (tested at 300°C; method A) approx. 15.5 – 22-fold (2 mm thick samples tested at 550°C for 30 min with weight support)
Storage	Rolls must be protected from pressure loads. Store dry, indoors at ≤ 50°C.
