svt Group of companies continues to drive international expansion

Hamburg: svt Group of Companies continues to drive forward the internationalisation of its business in the product sector and has merged with the Danish company Scandi Supply A/S. One of the leading suppliers of fire protection products in Europe is thus strengthening its activities in the Scandinavian market. In recent years, the svt group of companies has grown strongly in the product area in recent years and has driven its European expansion through acquisitions in France, UK and Norway.

Scandi Supply, based in Vissenbjerg near Odense, is one of the leading distributors of passive fire protection products in Denmark. The company was founded more than 25 years ago and has a comprehensive portfolio of fire protection products.

“With Scandi Supply, we have gained a strong partner with in-depth expertise and a deep understanding of the Scandinavian market,” says Dr Jens Reiners, CEO of the svt Group of Companies. “This step allows us to expand our reach into one of the most dynamic regions in Europe and at the same time benefit from Scandi Supply’s expertise. As part of the merger, the current CEO and Co-owner of Scandi Supply Bent Jensen is leaving the company. The 63-year-old had led the company for more than 25 years and significantly expanded its market position in Denmark. “It has been a pleasure and an honour to lead Scandi Supply for many years and to contribute to the growth of the company,” Bent Jensen stated. “The journey we have travelled has been characterised by innovation and a strong customer focus. With the svt Group of Companies at our side, it is now time to put the company in new hands and write an even bigger success story. I am proud of what we have achieved and am convinced that Scandi Supply will continue to flourish under the new leadership.’

Tom Abildgaard will take over as new CEO of Scandi Supply. The 36-year-old has been one of the company’s owners since 2019. Tom Abildgaard, who has worked for Scandi Supply since 2014, has extensive experience in the field of strategic management and is an expert in the fire protection market. “I’m very much looking forward to working with the svt Group,” says Tom Abildgaard. “Together, we have the opportunity to combine our strengths and utilize synergies that will enable us to further expand our market presence in Scandinavia and set new standards in fire protection. By joining forces, we will further increase our innovative strength and offer our customers first-class solutions. Our common goal is to further consolidate our market leadership in the field of fire protection in the region.”
