PYRO-SAFE® DG-CR SK is a flexible glass filament fabric composite building material with an internal intumescent coating based on PYRO-SAFE® DG. The product is flexible and when exposed to fire forms a thermally insulating layer of foam on the inside, which fills the gaps between the component being protected and the fabric, limiting the propagation of fire.

Field of Application

PYRO-SAFE® DG-CR SK is used in various applications, e.g. as sealing strips for door systems, other fire sealing systems as well as component construction products, elements and assemblies with fire protection requirements.

Product Features

  • Resistant against many chemicals and to mechanical impact
  • Early and rapid foaming at 150 °C
  • Suited for indoor and outdoor applications
  • Humidity and UV resistant
  • Certified by  DIN EN 45545-2:2013-08, material fulfils fire protective requirement R22 and R23 for the hazard level HL3

Handling

  • The substrate must be free of contamination.
  • The adhesive foil serves as an installation aid.
  • For large-surface applications, the material must be mechanically fixed or clamped.
